*HELP*

HELP ME!! Jaxon and I are always trying to go on a fun date and it always ends up at Orgami Sushi and the movies. I feel like this town has a dead night life after say...5:30 pm! I can feel so ready to move its killing me- the Navy had better come through- I need to get out of here. There is just nothing here for me. Sure I've met some wonderful people but the bad far out weighs the good---anyways... Since we are praying to move I want to make sure I see/go/do some of the great things here. Yes- we've been to the Olympic Game Farm and the Coast and the Space Needle and Im running out of ideas. If you have a great idea for a date or family activity please help us! I have some amazing memories from our little outings and we need more so I can have more to scrapbook when we leave!!!

I've been wanting to go tour the Seattle Underground since we've moved here. There's a whole city with streets and storefronts under the city now. They had to build on top of it because it was always flooding. Anyway, there's also a movie theatre in the Everett area where you have a full course meal while watching a movie, in comfy seats, etc, I've heard that's pretty cool.....anyway, a few thoughts. :) Good luck!

The Seattle Center has tons of cool things (besides the Space Needle) that are worth checking out. They have an awesome Children's Museum that I'm sure Korbin would love, and probably Allie too. Pikes Place Market is fun to just walk through and see all of the interesting stands. It's a fun area.

If you're into the outdoors the Olympic Peninsula has some fabulous family-friendly hikes I could recommend.

One of our "to do" list dates is going to Vertical World in Bremerton - it's an indoor rock gym which is fun if you're a beginner or if you've been climbing before. That would be a change of pace! :) Good luck.

So many Great things!

Touristy: The Seattle Underground tour is really cool. I love Pike Place Market. You have to see them throw the fish. The flowers rival European flower markets. Take the Ferry, go to the market, and have beautiful flowers for the week! We also really enjoyed the aquarium and going to Ivars. While your there walk down to Ye Olde Curiosity Shoppe - They have real mummies in the back. The science center at the Seattle center is great.

Local Vibe: I love, love, LOVE Queen Anne Hill. You HAVE to drive around and see the houses there. If I could live anywhere in the world it would be there. Quiet, lovely neighborhood where you can walk to the bakery in the morning, then 2 minutes and you are in the city. Lower Fremont has the most amazing little vintage shops. Eat at Dad Watsons.

Outside of Seattle: Point Defiance in Tacoma has a nice zoo and a lovely little park. In fact, I love walking around downtown Tacoma. It's really beautifully restored, and smaller and not as busy as Seattle. The Chihuly glass museum has a great outdoor part that you don't have to pay for. Dash Point in Federal Way is really nice. Flaming Geyser state park also makes a nice little day trip. We also used to go fly kites at Ocean Shores.

OH!! Get a sitter overnight, and drive up to Port Angeles, (Twilight! Hello! Its the smallest town you've ever seen by the way) take the Ferry to Victoria. We stayed at a resort there. It is so beautiful. But wait until spring so the flowers are blooming.
