In 13 days we will be forever...

In 13 days Jaxon and I will take our babies to the Draper Temple to be sealed as a family. Part of me has been ready for years and part of me is just now ready. I'll never be able to understand the love I have for this man. It's almost maddening how much I don't have any control over the feelings I have for him, they are so intense, so pure, so passionate and so wonderful. Even in my very darkest hour I knew he was the only one for me. Even when he didn't know -I knew.
If you know us well you would know our road has not been easy. Hardships most marriages will never face have been ours in the first 7 years. Each year has taught us what true love really is. I knew what love was before we married. I knew what it was the first year. The second and so forth but to wake up and say 'Today I'm going to love you more than yesterday' is something that takes much patience. And Practice.
When we were first married a wicked old lady in my ward (Geny Morrision) gave me a piece of great advice 'The day I stopped trying to be the PERFECT wife, I became a wonderful one' How true it was. I wanted to be the smartest, prettiest wife. The one with the best house and cutest kids-who also have manners and I wanted everything to be perfect and I still wanted to be fun. I eventually realized-Jaxon wants a wife who will cuddle him at any given time. A wife who doesn't let herself go but doesn't take 2 hours to get ready. A wife that no matter what stands her ground. And the most important part -A wife that loves him unconditionally. I want to be that wife. I also want to be a little of what a wife is to me too. In the middle we found happiness-and that's all we really wanted anyway.
My lovey is-well, he's just delicious. He is a little bit of everything and I am so happy he is. I'd say he's the most well rounded person I know (except with dancing-or singing-or...) In one minute he can have big tough hands that can build something and the next he is touching me with the most gentle caress while he kisses me softly. He is wildly annoying and like very expensive toys (last week we bought a Harley) but his annoying traits and sorely missed when he's away and we love him just the way he is.
After we were leaving the stake presidents office I asked him if he really was ready because just a few short years ago he wanted nothing to do with God and his reply was so wonderful 'I was just being an idiot, I never not believed I just didn't really think it was for me. I know now that I need it and it needs me. I'm ready for Heavenly Father to make me the man I'm supposed to be I'd also like to have you you know...Forever. That will be great too.'
(You know how Jax speaks =)
Little did he know I'd been working on him the whole time and I'm pretty sure Heavenly Father knew it even when Jaxon didn't.
I AM READY!! I want him and the crazies FOREVER and a little longer after that if you please...

Allies 2nd Un Birthday

Our little lady Allie had her 2nd Birthday on Saturday. What? You say-she was born in December? Yes! She was, but in our house you get a 'Birthday Season' (It has something to do with Chirst being our brother and he gets a Holiday season so the rest of the family should follow suit) So, because of Christmas she gets a Un-Birthday on the half-year. July 10th.
She is only two and we leave in 10 days to go to get sealed so it was very low key! We just invited kids she usually plays with to come to our pool and then have cake and ice cream.
Our sweet friend Angie made her the prettiest Tinkerbell Cake and dyed the inside pick and purple swirls!! Everyone loved it!!
It was a little crazy leading up to the party with the weather being rainy so Jaxon and I moved the tabke into the formal dining room and planned to put a kiddie pool in the kitchen. (My kid wanted a pool party, and dang it she was gonna get it!) I got nervous and decorated the house so if we did get rained out we could still improve inside! I am so glad I did!! It was clear sky from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. and at five on the nose it started to pour. We went inside and dried off in a tinkerbell pink paradise!
Miss. Allie got killer gifts and we feel very blessed to have so many little kiddos she is buddies with!!
Some of the kids induldging...

Sorry, thats the best picture I could get with her in the pool. She's just as crazy in water as on land. Kinda takes after someone-I can't remember who...
Is that a little mexican boy? Nope it's Korbin and albino Jaxon-well, being themselves...

Isn't that the cutest cake ever?!! I look fat (that shirt is now in the Goodwill box) but Miss. Allie looks so happy. She is a crazy, silly, wild, sweet, happy little girl!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LADYBUG!!

Its called CATCH UP TIME!

I have been crappy at blogging but I've been wicked busy doing this:
Eating Donouts on National Donut Day.
And dragging mis matched Korbin to the lake again-He's upset he can't get in.

Helping Miss. Allie feed the baby geese and ducklings who are all 'Birds' no matter what.

When Jaxon came home to visit from PA he got to business for our upcoming sealing. The guys who stood in the circle when Jefferson Hunter (on other end) gave my lovey the Preisthood. I love these men but mostly the hot chicks they live with=)

And, he made Sunday Waffles with his other great love. (Can you see the way she looks at him? It's beautiful)

In case you didn't look close the first time. (just kidding I just can't erase it for some reason)

Going to the Augusta Farmers Market on the Savannah river. My favorite Saturday activity Ever! And the Shaved ice isn't bad in 110 degree heat! Miss. Allie learning how to do some makeup while I am showering. I was screaming at her to stop while in the shower. This kid might not make it to puberty.

'Oh, you don't like this look? What is wrong with YOU?' She asks when I wont let her keep it on for the store.
Working towards a Black Belt-our life revolves around Karate now. It's been great for Korbin. He is loving 'Ninja Training' as he calls it. If you know my son this is right up his alley! This is his first of many many boards he's broke.

Also, in the 9 weeks Jaxon was away in Pittsburg we were preparing to go to the Draper Temple on the 30th of July.
You wont want to miss that post.
Stay Tuned...
