Last Friday was one of the craziest days in Georgia history! It snows here once a decade. And, our first winter we received almost 5 inches of pure white perfection! It was FANTASTIC-well, we thought it was! One of our gas stations ran out of gas. People wouldn't leave their homes, and the ones who did got caught going 20 miles an hour behind Granny. There was no milk left in the supermarkets and our ward Valentines party got called off!!
We had a 'ball' anyways!!
We trekked up our street (luckily we had snow gear and I have the coolest snowboarding coat in the history of the world) with 30 Red Heart Mylar balloons to give out to the kids in our ward that live in our subdivision. It was quite a sight! The snow flurries and the four of us being trailed by a massive grouping of balloons!! WHY did I forget my camera!??
We played late and then had hot baths with hot chocolate!
The best part was seeing our kids interact with the other kids who have never seen snow before!!! It was a great night-it melted the next day!!

That's what I love about the South! It really is amazing how the whole city will just shut down and nobody knows what to do! I miss those days!:)
It looks perfect, especially since it lasted exactly one day!
